‘A prince of Australian literature’: so said Senator Varun Ghosh in the Australian Parliament yesterday of Peter Rose, ABR Editor of twenty-four years. ABR thanks Senator Ghosh for acknowledging Peter Rose’s outstanding stewardship of Australia’s longest-running review publication and the democratic value of cultural commentary.
