Location
ABR’s office is located within The Wheeler Centre. The Wheeler Centre is at 176 Little Lonsdale Street and adjoins Victoria’s State Library, a central landmark in Melbourne’s literary landscape. The building is home to a number of Melbourne’s literary organisations, such as the Melbourne Writers Festival, Express Media, Writers Victoria, Emerging Writers’ Festival, and Australian Poetry. The Wheeler Centre is easily accessible by tram and is within the Free Tram Zone, with routes 30 and 35 running along Swanston Street. Several other tram lines (3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67, 72) can be hailed from Stop 6. Melbourne Central and State Library train stations are also proximate to the location. On-street metered parking is available on Little Lonsdale Street, and there are several paid carparks in the area, including the QV Melbourne shopping precinct directly across from the building.
