Luke Forbes

Luke Forbes is a Melbourne-based dance scholar and PhD researcher at Monash University. He worked as a ballet dancer in Switzerland and Germany prior to undertaking higher education in critical dance studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. Elements of his doctoral research, a cultural history of dance in Australia, have been published by Runway Journal and Australasian Drama Studies. Luke co-edited and contributed a chapter to Yvonne Georgi: Tagebuch und Dokumente zu Tanztourneen mit Harald Kreutzberg (1929–1931).
