Chengxin Pan

Dr Chengxin Pan is Associate Professor of International Relations at Deakin University and a co-editor of the Global Political Sociology series (Palgrave Macmillan). He is the author of Knowledge, Desire and Power in Global Politics: Western Representations of China’s Rise (2012) and co-editor (with David Walker) Australia and China: Challenges and Ideas in Cross-cultural Engagement (2015). He recently co-edited (with Emilian Kavalski) a Special Issue on ‘Theorizing China’s Rise in and beyond International Relations’, International Relations of the Asia–Pacific 18(3), 2018.
