Gareth Hipwell is a Sydney-based freelance music journalist and author, writing for Rolling Stone Australia, The Big Issue, Country Update Magazine and other publications. His short fiction has appeared in Southerly, The Sleepers Almanac Vol. 9, and at NoiseMedium online. He is currently working on his first novel, an acid western set in the Monaro region of the 1860s.
