Ian Patterson

Ian Patterson

Ian Patterson is a poet and translator, and a Fellow of Queens’ College, Cambridge, where he teaches English. He translated Proust’s Finding Time Again for Penguin, is the author of Guernica and Total War (2007) and has published numerous essays on twentieth-century literature. His most recent poetry publications include Bound To Be (Equipage, 2017) and Still Life (Oystercatcher Press, 2017). He is married to the writer Olivia Laing, and divides his time between Cambridge and London.
