Sarah McDonald

Sarah McDonald is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Arts at Monash University and is the Director of the Bachelor of Global Studies. Her research area is in Latin American Studies with a special focus contemporary Latin American Cinema, in particular the development and representation of popular culture within film, specifically as it relates to representations of women and marginal social groups. Other areas of interest include female filmmakers in Latin America and issues of violence, gender representation and identity.
