Clyde Cameron

Clyde Cameron (1913–2008) was a shearer, then variously organiser, Federal Vice-President, and Adelaide branch Secretary of the AWU before becoming a member of parliament. He was a minister in the Whitlam government.

The Shearers by Patsy Adam-Smith is worth a place in the best of libraries if only for its superb collection of photographs and reproductions – 291 of them!
